Upshur County students and staff participated in the statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 22. This is just one example of the necessity of preparing for disasters. Teachers facilitated conversations with students before and after as to what the students were going to need to do and why the students were going to have to take the actions that they did. Students were proactive in learning through the practice procedures.
All Upshur County staff and students were stars today during this county wide drill!
