The sole purpose of the Foundation for Better Schools in Upshur County, Inc. is to aid in the betterment and improvement of the public-school system in Upshur County, West Virginia. The Foundation funds may be used for, but not limited to, maintenance of facilities, capital improvements, purchase of rental of books, supplies and equipment and support of education programs. The Foundation will be accepting grant applications quarterly with the next due date for submission of applications of March 31, 2021. The attached Education Innovation Grant form should be completed and submitted to Donald B. Nestor, President, Foundation for Better Schools in Upshur County, Inc., 35 Lincoln Way, Buckhannon, WV 26201. In addition to unrestricted funds of over $15,000, the Foundation also has funds designated for specific areas of the Upshur County School System totaling $4,792.
