B-UMS students launched their first project last Thursday and Friday. Moon colonies and ideal civilizations will be imagined and planned during our first project for Project Based Learning (PBL). Students participated in walking tours of downtown Buckhannon and West Virginia Wesleyan College. These two sites served as models for what it takes to function as a successful communities. While on the tours, students competed in a scavenger hunt. Teams of students vied for the chance to pick their prize back at school. Thank you to the city of Buckhannon and West Virginia Wesleyan for setting up our tour stops and welcoming us for the day!
