Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opens on March 3rd! 🎉
🌟 Key Details:
K-12 Enrollment: Starting March 3rd, secure your child’s spot in our exceptional schools.
Kindergarten Enrollment: As a reminder current Pre-K students must enroll for kindergarten.
Open Enrollment: Opens March 3rd. Anyone requesting a transfer inside or from outside the county must complete a Non-Resident / Resident Transfer Form.

Bus 243 will be able to operate today , February 21st, at regular 2 hour delay times. Again, bus 243 will be running today for both the morning and afternoon route.

Bus 32 will not be running the AM or PM run. HS/ MS students can meet at Hodgesville Elementary and get on bus #31 at 9:15AM and will be returned at 3:55PM. Bus 88 will not be running the AM or PM run. HS/ MS students can meet at Rock Cave Elementary and get on bus 93 at 9:10AM and will be returned at 3:45PM. Bus 92 will not be running the AM or PM run. HS/ MS students can meet at Rock Cave Elementary and get on bus 94 at 9:10AM and will be returned at 3:45PM. Bus 238 will not be running the AM or PM run. HS/ MS students can meet at French Creek Elementary and get on bus 17 at 9:25AM and will be returned at 3:45PM. Bus 243 will not be running AM or PM. Hs/Ms Students can catch bus 29 at BAES at 9:35AM and return at 3:40PM
Bus 30 will not be running AM route this morning HS/MS students can meet at Washington District Elementary and get on bus 26 at 9:20AM.

❄️ 🚨 Due to winter road conditions, all schools are operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Friday, February 21st.

❄️ 🚨 Due to the winter weather and road conditions, all schools are closed today, Thursday, February 20th.

Due to anticipated weather conditions Upshur County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, February 20th.

Following Buses will not be running AM or PM bus 92 , bus 33 and bus 243 Bus 92 Hs/Ms Students can catch bus 23 at Rock Cave Elementary at 9:10 AM and returned at 3:55 PM. Bus 33 Hs/Ms Students can catch bus 88 at Rock Cave Elementary at 9:10 AM and return at 3:50pm. Bus 243 Hs/Ms Students can catch bus 29 at BAES at 7:35am and return at 3:40pm. The following buses are PM only and cancelled this morning. Bus 239 Hs/Ms can catch bus 240 at French Creek at 9:10 am. Bus 97 Union and Baes students will be self-transport in the AM.

❄️🚨Tuesday, February 18th, all Upshur County Schools will operate on a two hour delay.

Wednesday, February 12th, Upshur County Schools will be operating on a two hour delay.

Tonight the Upshur County Board of Education meets twice. Once at 5:30 PM and again at 6:00 PM. Please join the meeting to stay updated on the latest business of your local Board of Education.
